Here at the Building Material Thrift Store our motto is “Just Reuse It!” The Building Material Thrift Store is a recycling retail outlet that primarily serves the Wood River Valley by locally recycling quality furniture, appliances and building materials which reduces landfill and the Valley’s carbon footprint. Proceeds from the sale of your donated items are dedicated to the Wood River Land Trust.

Shopping at the Thrift Store is environmentally responsible as it reduces waste and promotes the use of reclaimed materials while minimizing the impact on our region’s natural resources.
Donating to the Building Material Thrift Store is as easy as picking up the phone and dialing 788-0014. We normally can arrange pickup of your tax deductible donations the same day or within 24 hours. If in good condition we accept: Furniture, appliances, framing lumber, doors, windows, kitchen/bathroom cabinets, flooring, trim, tile, sinks, toilets, tubs, hardware, electrical supplies, appliances and more.

LESS LANDFILL
Since January 1, 1999 the Building Material Thrift Store has diverted over 7,000 cubic yards (equivalent to 1167 residential garbage truck loads) from the Blaine County land fill.
