The Building Material Thrift Store accepts donations of unwanted home improvement materials that are of good resale quality and sells them to the public at low prices in a convenient retail setting.

The Building Material Thrift Store accepts new and used building materials from individuals, contractors, suppliers, lumberyards, manufacturers remodelers and property managers.

Donating building materials helps us improve our world by:

• Saving useful materials from the landfill
• Making home improvement more affordable for more people
• Saving you money on disposal
• Freeing up precious storage space
• You get a tax deduction for the market value of your donation
• Proceeds from the sale of your donations help protect scenic views, farmland, healthy water and wildlife habitat in the Wood River Valley through the Wood River Land Trust.

Please note that only the Thrift Store staff can determine if items are suitable for donation and we reserve the right to turn down material deemed unfit for sale. Please contact us if you have questions.
